This 2-day session will identify key multi-tier systems of support for Dual Language Learners, who have a disability or are suspected of having a disability. What are some effective and equitable best practices and interventions for culturally and linguistically diverse learners? Discussion and activities will focus on creating a continuum of appropriate supports for these students within a solution-seeking collaborative team approach from the perspective of a bilingual speech and language pathologist and second language acquisition specialist.
